About

The Crape Myrtle is a gorgeous show stopper and a true favorite!  Often referred to as the "lilac of the South", this species offers striking pink flowers and handsome bark. Its foliage is also very attractive with oval to oblong, lustrous medium to dark green with showy, yellow, orange or red colors in the Fall. This fast grower is great for urban settings and can be grown as either a shrub or small tree. In addition to its beauty, it’s a hardy species great for hot and sunny climates and once established it has considerable drought tolerance.
